The Niigata Sky Project is an initiative that supports aircraft-related industries through collaboration between industry, academia, and government in Niigata City.
Already, seven companies have gathered to form an aircraft industry consortium because of their strong drive to be active in the aircraft industry.
We named our consortium the “Niigata Sky Component Association” (“NSCA” for short) and we carry out our work at the joint factory which is at the heart of our operations.
Strong Companies in the Aircraft Industry Come Together
In NSCA, we have companies with vast experience in the aircraft industry, including ones that:
Supply precision sheet metal parts for aircraft seats
Supply machined parts for landing gear and engines.
Supply parts up to 3 m long for aircraft component
Are Nadcap accredited and carry out surface treatment as a special process
Additionally, we have companies that meet the various quality standards required for processing aircraft parts in their work with heat treatment, non-destructive inspection, and laser processing. Our distinguished group of NSCA companies works together to respond to the needs of customers in the aircraft industry.
Simplified ordering system at NSCA
Combining specialized processing and assembly
With the NSCA joint factory as the core, we provide competitive parts machining and assembly processing by dividing the tasks of production by each group company’s specialty.
Constructing an integrated regional manufacturing system
NSCA will continue to build up our status as a supplier of aircraft parts thanks to our established integrated regional manufacturing system made with the cooperation of companies in the area.
Fostering world-class experts
Looking ahead to future work with overseas companies, we aim to build a system that can respond to various needs, both in Japan and abroad, by cultivating human resources with the necessary language skills and expertise.
